Today, I celebrate my friend, brother and an unusual politician, Barr Tunde Braimah, on his birthday.
Tunde yi dara pupo l'okunrin,
Tunde ng we lodo, gbogbo Omoge yo owo ose,
wonni temi ni ko gba , temi ni ko mu,
Nitoriwipe bi Tunde ko se oko, yio se aale eni.
Sugbon Tunde kin nse asewo, kin nse nobi,
O kan fi oju jo ekun ni, ko le pa eran je.

The first thing that strikes you about BTB is his humility.
In an environment where political appointees become demi-gods, just after a couple of years in government,
Tunde who has been there from the beginning, as a community leader, local government chairman and now Member of the Lagos Assembly, remains what he has always been: humble, approachable and very very accessible.
Goes to show that it all boils down to good breeding, an important pillar of the omoluabi creed.
Happy Birthday, TB, many happy returns of the day.
Igba Odun, Odun kan.
