There was no casualty in the explosion reported this morning at the ECWA Church in Tudunwada Area of Jos, Plateau state today.
Witnesses
said the explosion heard was when church members threw out a package
that looked like an improvised bomb, which was found in the church’s
toilet.
The bomb exploded, creating fears and panic far and near about a possible Boko Haram attack.
Members of the Police Anti-bomb squad were reported to have arrived at the scene.
Last week, two explosions occurred at a restaurant and a mosque holding an Islamic sermon, killing 44 people and wounding 67.
