REMAINS OF FORMER IGP ARRIVES HOME TOWN, BURIAL DETAILS TO BE ANNOUNCED

The remains of former Inspector General of Police, Chief Sunday Adewusi, arrived Ogbomoso aboard a military aircraft today.
The former governor of Oyo State, Otunba Adebayo Alao Akala, led thousands of mourners that received the body of the late Asiwaju Of Ogbomoso,Chief Sunday Adewusi, whose body arrived from Abuja ahead of a state funeral and burial which will be announced by the family soon.
The body was received by the son of the deceased, Mr Remi Adewusi and deposited in the Bowen University Teaching Hospital Morgue. According to him, the burial arrangement will be announced soon.
The body was accompanied by AIG Zone C and Commissioners of Police from Oyo, Osun and Ondo States.
In his eulogy. Otunba Akala described his former boss as a great a lover of noble virtues and a prayer warrior, “The Asiwaju of Ogbomoso, Chief Sunday Adewusi, is a father who, in no small way, contributed to my success in life.
The former Inspector General of Police, Chief Sunday Adewusi,died on Tuesday at the National Hospital, Area 11, Abuja at a ripe age of 79.
