points to remain in the same spot as last year December and Africa’s
ninth behind leaders Algeria (18), Tunisia (22) Ivory Coast (28),
Senegal (35), Ghana (37), Guinea (39), Cape Verde(40) and Cameroon (42).
Nigeria’s Eagles failed to beat South Africa in their last group AFCON qualifying match in Uyo International Stadium as the Africa champions forced them to play 2-2 to remain third position in the group table. Germany, Argentina and Colombia hold the first, second and third spots in the world respectively as Brazil retained their sixth spot in the world
