I have known Uncle Soni a long time, his agency has been doing business with me right from my Punch days as the Advert Head Honcho, , and he has been following me with his business wherever I was.
But, this is not about our relationship.
As I was stepping out of the secretariat to go and break my fast at the Lagos House, the Master himself stepped out of his car , and after our usual banter, was about to go on with his business when a friend I was standing with blurted out;
" Who is that young man ?"
Now, since people of my generation were in Secondary School when he started his career, and we're barely out of the university when he was at the peak, it is a testimony to Uncle Soni's longevity that would make a 50 year old call him a young man!
And apart from looking all suave and trendy, he is also enjoying himself tremendously going by his liveliness and his ever sunny personality.

I hope all those small small girls are not reading this.
