IG ASSURES IRISH INVESTORS OF ADEQUATE SECURITY

The Inspector General of the Nigeria Police Force , Suleiman Abba  has assured prospective investors in Nigeria  of the government' s supports for the development of their business

The IGP , who was represnted by AIG Tunde Ogunsakin , stated this during the " Invest in Nigeria Forum "  a gathering of Irish business stake holder  in Radisson Biu Hotel at city centre Dublin on 31st Ocotober 2014.
The Nigeria police boss AIG Tunde Ogunsakin highlighted the importance of business coperation between different countries , when he stated that " No national economic discourse is complete without reference to foreign direct investment "
Abba added that "  Successive  administrations in Nigeria have sought different ways to advance the Nigeria economy in this regard and have achieved varying degrees of success in building a strong economy for Nigeria."
He continued that  " its agreeable that for any foreign establishment to  have any form of investment in any country,  it has to be assured of security and stability within the polity and socio economic set up of such  country  My country Nigeria is not in anyway different from this"
" Little wonder in recent times Nigeria has put up a giant stride in our economic front .the different machineries of government have pooled efforts together to improve the Nation economic status using every tool at their disposal " the IGP noted
The police boss claimed that " One notable government institution that has stood out is the Nigeria police . in our effort to improve the security situation in Nigeria the police authority headed  by inspector General Suleiman Abba  have developed a police reform programme through which it has embarked on different project and programmes ranging from infrastructure development to capacity development "
He further stated that " The present administration headed by Inspector general of police Suleiman Abba want me to assured you all that we will not rest on oars despite the challeges and the success the government is recording"

He concluded that " Come and invest in Nigeria .The government  recognizes the importance of infrastructural development and security of lives and properties to the development of any nations and the transformation agenda of the present administration led by President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan is a pointer to this fact
