Unidentified thugs have attacked Limawa primary school in Minna capital of Niger state this morning.
According to Daily Trust the attack occurred at about 10:30 a.m. on Monday.
The number of casualties could however not be affirmed as at the time of publishing this report although a source said two students were inflicted with machete cuts and have been taken to the hospital.
The Niger state Police command spokesperson DSP Ibrahim Gambari confirmed the incident. He said normalcy had been returned to the area but did not give further details.
