POLICE ARREST 62 YEAR OLD ROBBERY GANG LEADER, 32 OTHERS


Determined to rid Delta State of all forms of criminal activities, police detectives at the state police command, have arrested a 62-year-old man, Peter Mukoro, and 32 others for robbery activities in Issele-Uku, Issele-Azagba, Ubulu-Okiti communities after they had reportedly robbed several unsuspecting persons.

The acting police public relations officer in the state, ASP Preston Roland, who confirmed the arrest of the suspects, disclosed that the 62 years old father of four, upon interrogation confessed to being the gang leader who have been robbing residents of the communities in the last two months.
It was reliably gathered that the suspect had led the police detectives to their hideout, leading to the arrest of the 32 others inside the thick forest of the communities.
