Uche’s 59th minute penalty and Samuel neat strike in added time almost but book a ticket to Equatorial Guinea for the defending AFCON champions.

Nigeria are now second on the log with a superior goal difference to Congo but are behind leaders South Africa who they host next Wednesday in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state.
A win by any margin against Bafana Bafana would guarantee an automatic qualifications to Africa’s biggest sporting event for the Super Eagles.
