The entire communities in Ado-Odo/Ota
Local Government Area of Ogun State have commended a member of the House of
Representatives and the Social Democratic Party (SDP) candidate for the
Ado-Odo/Ota Federal Constituency in the March 28, 2015 election, Hon. Babatunde
Ogunola (a.k.a Tomo), for making life more comfortable for the people with the
various empowerment projects he had executed in the communities in the last
three and half years.
Speaking on behalf of the communities
in the Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government, Chief Nureu Yusuf, Chairman of
Olorungbebe/Oke-Oyinbo Community Development Association (CDA), stated that the
communities would forever remain grateful to Hon. Ogunola who had, among other
things, distributed 12 units of 500KVA transformer and 380 units of solar light
across the 16 wards in the Local Government Area.
The CDA Chairman further added that the
communities were also appreciative of Hon. Ogunola’s construction of a
mini-water station at Oloparun along Owode/Ado-Odo road, 25 units of borehole
across the 16 wards in the Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of the State, a
state-of-the-art ICT centre at Ilo-Ota, three blocks of classroom at C.M.S
Primary School, Ado-Odo and his construction of a dilapidated bridge at
Iyana-IyesiOta.
He noted that the people of Ado-Odo/Ota
Federal Constituency had, so far, enjoyed the best of social amenities under
Hon. Ogunola, the current House of Representative member, due to his determination
to personally address this issue with his human and material resources, knowing
fully well that the constituency had suffered a lot under the previous
representatives as no social amenities reached the people
While reacting on the people’s appreciation
of his life-impacting empowerment projects, Hon. Ogunola stated that his
tradition of caring for communities in his federal constituency places
significant value on the people’s socio-economic well-being as bedrock of
societal growth, adding that the gesture was not only to plough back to the
society who had found him worthy to be their representative in the House of
Representative for three and half years now but to also assist the communities
to achieve sustainable development.
The SDP Chieftain, who hinted that over
100 units of Keke NAPEP (Marwa) were also to be distributed to the people soon,
assured that he would not only double his efforts at bringing succor to the
people of Ado-Odo/Ota federal constituency but would also continue to give the
people responsive and quality representation at the National Assembly if
re-elected.
While appealing to the communities that
had benefited from the various empowerment projects to maintain and put them
into positive use in order to promote their socio-economic activities, Hon.
Ogunola expressed his appreciation to the people for their consistent support.
He, however, called on the electorate
in the Ado-Odo/Ota federal constituency to vote for all the candidates of the
Social Democratic Party (SDP) in the forthcoming elections, promising that they
would not disappoint the people if elected.
