The Lagos State political landscape was today cleared with opinion
polls projecting the APC candidates, Akinwunmi Ambode leading in opinion
polls.
In the poll released by Mega City Foundation, the APC and its candidate
were projected to be leading by as much as 82% in terms of voters
support.
Agbaje was accredited with 14% of the votes according to the polling report made available to the press.
According to the study, Akinwunmi Ambode, is the candidate of choice by Lagos voters with a 82% lead over other candidates.
This is a clear indication that the choice of Lagos voters in the next
governorship race is Akinwunmi Ambode. Meanwhile, Agbaje of the PDP
comes a far distant second, polling 14% representing a 2% decline from
the earlier survey.
“Akinwunmi
Ambode remains (the) main voting choice. Voting choice for Agbaje
declined by 2% and seem not to pose a threat to the AMBODE chances of
election as he remains firmly ahead of the race,” MF said in its report.
