Former President Chief OLusegun Obasanjo's autobiography "My Watch"
was launched on Tuesday despite a court injunction restraining him from
doing so.
The book launch which was well attended was low keyed
and held at the Lagos Country Club, Ikeja. Obasanjo however kept mute on
the injunction, declaring that it was a matter for the courts.
The chairman, South west mobilization committee of the Peoples
Democratic Party and flag bearer of the party for Ogun East senatorial
district in 2015 election, Buruji Kashamu had dragged the former
President to court to stop the launch.
The court granted an injunction barring the ex-president not to launch the book.
Kashamu had alleged that the book contains defamatory content against his person
