NSE RANKED THIRD WORST PERFORMING STOCK MARKET IN THE WORLD

The Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) has been ranked the third worst performing stock market globally during the 2014 financial year. According to a report published yesterday in the online edition of Daily Telegraph of London, the Nigerian bourse recorded 33 per cent loss to earn third position among the 10 worst exchanges in the world.

PASSENGERS STRANDED AS AIRLINES HIKE FARES

Mr. Osita Chidoka, as the new Minister of Aviation.Hundreds of intending passengers were on Thursday stranded at the domestic wing of the Murtala Muhammad airport, Lagos over hike in fares by airline operators.

Boko Haram insurgents kidnapped at least 185 women and children, and killed 32 people in a raid in northeastern Nigeria this week, local officials and residents said.

100 NIGERIANS DEPORTED FROM EUROPE
